Morning Star Energy is an Indiana
founded and based Limited Liability Company. The company currently
operates near the town of Avon in Hendricks County just west of
Indianapolis. Efforts are underway to build and operate a modern
fuel-ethanol production facility in west-central Indiana.
The Morning Star Energy leadership team will collaborate with industry
leaders in science and engineering to continuously enhance the company's productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
Alan Davis
Alan Davis has over twenty years of experience in maintenance, maintenance supervision, technical instruction, project/program management, and inspection/quality review in general and commercial aviation. Alan has hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and systems maintenance including fabrication and repair of exotic materials. He has participated in the design and implementation of IT intense systems to facilitate maintenance functions and has leadership responsibilities over diverse technical workgroups, both in-house and outsourced.
Greg Lynch
Greg Lynch has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering (Colorado State University, 1984)
and also has a strong background in quality assurance, industrial and mechanical
engineering. He has 20+ years of experience in food and pharmaceutical
engineering projects. Greg and his wife Beth own and operate an engineering & validation consulting business, ECVS, Inc. of Tucson, Arizona (www.ecvs-inc.com).
Sherman E. Newlin
Sherman Newlin is a commodity broker and owns and operates a 1500-acre farm in eastern Illinois. He is a branch office manager for Risk Management Commodities and a partner in Lafayette Grain and Mercantile, a grain marketing company.
Brian D. Paasch
Brian Paasch along with his wife Cara founded Morning Star Energy in 2004. Brian has a BS in Biochemistry (University of California, Davis, 1983) and has worked for over twenty years in the life sciences, mostly in pharmaceutical development.
Timothy S. Snyder
Tim Snyder joined the MSE project in the fall of 2005 as the project development consultant. Tim is the founder and owner of Agri-Energy Solutions, Inc. of Lubbock Texas (www.agri-energysolutions.com). Tim has served as a consultant for fuel-ethanol projects and also certain academic renewable fuels task groups and also to government officials in the topical areas of agriculture and renewable fuels. He has served in senior level positions at National Sorghum Growers Association. He has a degree in Ag Economics (Texas Tech University, 1983) and was formerly licensed as a commodity broker.
